Discussing Girls and Shoshanna: "It's crazy -- an amazing compliment to us all. People have been wonderful. The only strange thing is that they often think I'm going to be like her, which I'm really, really not."

Discussing feminism: "There's been an interesting perspective shift: wanting to get married and have kids is almost thought of as unfeminist. It's come to be seen as weak or desperate or that your priorities are out of whack. I think the definition of feminism has been a bit bastardised, and it needs to be addressed. It doesn't mean losing your femininity."
